PHILOSOPHY
IITR is founded on the principle that all people, regardless of sex, race, ethnic origin, age, or religion are equally entitled to career opportunities. Our objective is to offer students comprehensive tractor-trailer driver training programs with varying schedules to accommodate most students.

HISTORY
IITR was established and licensed by the Oregon Department of Education in March 1981. The school was sold in 1985, to our current President, Dave Riggins, and has been licensed since.

MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is identifying, recruiting, and offering qualified students a comprehensive tractor-trailer driving programs that will provide our graduates with the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to be employable in the transportation industry and to provide the transportation industry with a source of entry level tractor-trailer drivers.

BUSINESS OFFICE AND ADMISSIONS HOURS
Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Our admissions office is open weekends and evenings by appointment.

TRAINING HOURS
Day Classes: 4-week class (start times can vary). You will attend 8 hours a day, Monday through Friday or 10 hours a day Monday through Thursday or a mixture of both. Ask your Admissions recruiter for the schedule of the class you’ve chosen to attend.

Night Classes: 8-week class (start times can vary). You will attend 4 hours a night Monday through Friday, or 5 hours a night Monday through Thursday or a mixture of both. Ask your Admissions recruiter for the schedule of the class you’ve chosen to attend.

Weekend Classes: 10-week class (start times can vary). You will attend 8 hours a day, Saturday and Sundy. Ask your Admissions recruiter for the schedule of the class you’ve chosen to attend.
