Program Objectives
Our programs provide our graduates with the knowledge and hands on experience necessary to be employable as an entry level tractor-trailer driver.
CDL Training
Our students are trained using the latest methods available to assure they graduate with all Class A, CDL endorsements, and have the knowledge and skills necessary to pass the State Class A, CDL Road Test.
Program Descriptions
Program #301, Truck Driver Training
The Truck Driver Training Program is 160 clock hours in length.
Day Classes: 4-week class (start times can vary). You will attend 8 hours a day, Monday through Friday or 10 hours a day Monday through Thursday or a mixture of both. Ask your Admissions recruiter for the schedule of the class you’ve chosen to attend.
Night Classes: 8-week class (start times can vary). You will attend 4 hours a night Monday through Friday, or 5 hours a night Monday through Thursday or a mixture of both. Ask your Admissions recruiter for the schedule of the class you’ve chosen to attend.
Weekend Classes: 10-week class (start times can vary). You will attend 8 hours a day, Saturday and Sunday. Ask your Admissions recruiter for the schedule of the class you’ve chosen to attend.

Program #301, Truck Driver Training
The Truck Driver Training Program is 160 clock hours in length.
We use Lesson Plans (LP) for all training to ensure consistency throughout our program.
Day Class Program: We teach one lesson plan in the morning and another after lunch.
Night Program: We teach one lesson plan a night.
Weekend Program: We teach one lesson plan in the morning and another after lunch.

YARD TRAINING: Yard training consists of the following backing maneuvers: Straight, sight-side angle (both 45 and 90 degree), off-set, and blind. Other yard training includes pre-trip, in-cab, in-route, and post trip inspections, coupling and uncoupling both a tractor-trailer and double trailers, sliding fifth-wheels and tandem axles to learn to adjust axle weights, tire chain installation and brake adjusting.
ROAD TRAINING: We focus on the skills you will need. We make MANY right and left hand turns with LOTS of up shifting and down shifting. These skills are practiced on straight roads, tight curves, city driving, 2-lane rural driving, freeway driving, and hill conditions. Our students receive the necessary training to insure they are ready to drive in all conditions, even adverse conditions, weather permitting.
INSTRUCTOR TO STUDENT RATIO
Maximum: Classroom 1 – 18, Yard training 1 – 9, Road training 1 – 3.
STUDENT TO TRUCK RATIO
YARD: 2-1 when possible; never more than 3 - 1. ROAD: 2-1 when possible; never more than 3 - 1
